Disclaimer:
This piece is not like my normal works because this is something that is going to be an emotionally charged rant. Why? Because there is a lot that many seem to actively ignore and not only does it make having any revolutionary optimism almost impossible, it also makes people like myself whose been organizing for over a decade, someone with an over analytical brain and hyper pattern recognition, hate being here and dealing with everyone.
This article is a 30 minute read.
This piece will have slight editing, largely focusing on limited cursing since this piece is largely written out of rage but also trying not to be as vulgar as possible.
I want to preface everything in this piece as not technically calling anyone out, but if you feel offended by anything in this piece, maybe you need to self-analyze and self-criticize; because I’m sure we all know the old phrase “if the shoe fits, wear it.”
The one and only benefit of being born and raised in generational poverty means I’ve witnessed and experienced a hell that most actively ignore. Being involved in political organizations & building connections blessed me with the ability to travel and see that my struggle was commonplace and in some occasions not as severe as some areas. All of it, and being in the modern Western Left today, fills me with a certain anger that not even a 100 page book I feel can properly express it. But nonetheless, an attempt will be made. I am not mincing words, I’m not holding back a single emotion, I’m not watering anything down. Raw, uncut, and a direct voice of rage from the lower class amplified to those who need to hear it.
The Reality of the US and the Arrogance of Those Who Don’t Want Systemic Change:
Coming from my background, someone whose witnessed & experienced poverty in the US, in its rawest form, suffering in its rawest form, and becoming aware of the patterns of this societal structure and its ruling class, is what made me into the revolutionist I am today. However, dealing with the political entities in today’s time, dealing with those who act like the guard dogs of this system - giving unlimited loyalty for not even a fraction of the payment back. Dealing with the commonplace, undeserved arrogance that so many Americans have because of individualism, chauvinism, and American exceptionalism, for little to almost no logical reason given the fact they’re still ridiculously poor comparatively, yet act like a noble. Dealing with the Western Left today who, the majority of which, act like we have time and that wasting it on petty squabbles and cult like echo chambers is a better use of energy than organizing, and then wondering why so many don’t take them seriously or outright hate them. Dealing with everyone trying to act like their own mini-tyrant, shifting oppression and struggles onto the next person to lessen their own weight - charging everyone for even existing if they can get away with it, forcing someone to do something for you just because they have a debt with you, taking from someone who already has little just because you feel you can, and so many more examples I can’t properly list. Judging people because they appear or act slightly different, making decisions that can have lasting effects on their lives just because you denied humanity to them. All of it, everything I’ve seen, studied or experienced has made me come to hate America in a way I can’t properly express without it coming off as misanthropy. While I find many Americans who I care for and want to see live better, I find just as many Americans who act like wild, immature beasts with no concern for human life - but even acknowledging that, it still will never compare to the merciless hatred I have for the US government that acts demonic and more savage than any average American, and all who work for it.
-The Endless Suffering:
Many of you don’t understand poverty. Many of you don’t understand living in the ignored hell of America. Last year, 78% of the entire population lived paycheck to paycheck, more than 60% of American households cant afford to buy a new car, hell some can’t afford a car in general. Homelessness is on the rise with an 18% increase since 2023, over 770k people. You know how many Americans make under 50k a year? 40% of US households in 2023 - I’m in that bracket. Do you know how disheartening it is to never see more than 5k in your bank account at one time? Especially when 70% of the time its almost always under 2k, or even a thousand. Because the only way you can save it is if you have a decent safety net and family - I don’t. Most of my survival, and most poor people, has been on our own shoulders and figuring it out through connections, the piss poor resources that exist that everyone loves to quote and recommend to us without understanding how unobtainable they are most of the time (again, just shifting responsibility and denying humanity), or going without some necessities. Do you know what it’s like to live on one meal a day? Sometimes it being something simple a few hotdogs, or a sandwich from a gas station, ignoring the rest of the night of hunger. Have you ever seen someone who works over 40 hours a week and isn’t being paid overtime but can’t do anything out of fear he’ll be fired and struggle for a month or two to find work again, risking homelessness? Have you ever met a woman who struggles to find housing because so many men try to use her for their own desires? Do you not understand how that messes with the mind? And this is the average, I haven’t even touched on the poverty of rural communities which looks like something from the third-world at times - over there, slums are the norm, being without is the norm, unable to afford food or a car and being so overworked you feel like you’re dying is the norm - and by extension, crime is the norm.
If you never lived in poverty, you’ll never understand it until you’re looking at homeless people who lost everything over one bad decision, or because they got fired on a random Friday with no explanation just because they happened to be in a “Right to Work” state. You’ll never understand it until you see someone say they can’t buy groceries because they have to save for something important that’ll make their life easier so they’re rationing food. You’ll never understand it until you see lower middle class hipsters treat the homeless man like he’s a burden just for existing. You’ll never understand it until you get to where you can’t afford anything, yet still want to go somewhere and realize you can’t because it’ll cost you money for gas or food or water while you’re out - not to mention the fact most places enforce a loitering policy. You’ll never understand it until you see someone, or someone and their roommates, whose only option was criminal activity on top of a job just to meet basic necessities - criminal activity from drug dealing to prostitution as means to survive. You’ll never understand it until you see a mom and daughter involved in prostitution because the father died when she was young and she was influenced by her mom to get easier money in a hyper violent & dehumanizing industry. You’ll never understand it until you meet one of the upstanding citizens who is poor but cant afford a local rental except in the crime ridden neighborhood; risking robbery, theft, or death on a daily basis.
And, of course, you’ll never understand it until you’re looking at a man with nothing, gripping a gun or knife, willing to risk it all just to alleviate some of the pain even for a little bit, by taking from you.
Seriously, imagine what it’s like to live like this, even partly like this.
“My people are so hungry that they attack without reason, like a fuckin' dog rippin' off the hand that feeds him” -Point Of No Return, Immortal Technique
I’m convinced most of you don’t pay attention to song lyrics, especially when they can provide a level of clarity.
Expect Immortal Technique lyrics randomly throughout this, because this was the first man that radicalized me to the Left while I was young dealing with police brutality and fears of hunger & homelessness. Music is my main constant, my therapy in life, partly because of the trauma, and partly because of the AuDHD.
Growing up to an impoverished rural, lumpenprole family of rednecks and veterans, whose closest associates was gang members and drug dealers - which you’ll be surprised by how many inter-city gangs exist in rural communities and small towns because of the lack of police - I was on the road to becoming exactly like the other lumpenproles around me. That is if it wasn’t for my family and me coming across left-wing values. My parents was, while not perfect by a long shot - a pro-union, anti-police, anti-government family who was loyal to their children, even at the cost of their own safety or freedom. For me, there was no illusions of life or politics. I may have fell for Republican jargon at a young age but that didn’t last for long because I could see past the stage of what these two parties and their spectacle was, even if at the time I didn’t know what I was looking at. I became an anarchist at a young age, even if I didn’t know anything about it, I just knew I hated the government and police, hoping for a savior that never came and wasn’t coming unless it was from us.
When I came across left-wing beliefs and values in my teens, it was like entire branches of a pattern my brain was tirelessly trying to connect, was being connected at a rapid pace unlike anything else that was mainstream during the time. Mind you, this was during a point of my life where I was involved in lumpenprole activities. Street brawls, theft, inter-gang drama, just general dumb things simply because of the circles I was involved around, or the need to survive meant certain actions needed to be committed. Actions that my family tried their best to protect me from being involved in. This didn’t last long, of course, as learning more about the structural relations of capitalism, its history, and imperialism made me step away from this life. That and, of course, betrayal by my own.
When it comes to the lumpenproletariat, Marx & Engels was right, but so was Mao, Fanon, and the Black Panthers. There is lumpenproles who are counter-revolutionary, unable and unwilling to fight for change, but there is also those who can be changed into revolutionaries with the right leadership and guidance. It just matters the people you are trying to reach; what is their priorities, their struggles, how advanced is their analytical mind, are they intoxicated by the capitalist mentality, etc.
Western poverty, a manufactured system of suffering caused by the hoarding of necessities for profit by the wealthiest class, turns people into the worse versions of themselves. Under this system (capitalism), everything is commodified. Living in poverty under capitalism means struggling for survival and taking any opportunity to get out of poverty. Even something as pure as love and connection is destroyed under this system, as “love” is almost always up for negotiation if not accompanied by financial security or even excessive wealth. Be it relationships or friendships, they’re often lacking in genuine and authentic value if financial hardship or lack becomes a situation. Capitalism creates the values and individualism that births this hellish behavior we see in impoverished communities between workers. Making them value everything as a transactional relation rather than one of genuine human compassion & connection. This is the endless suffering, the hell that is poverty, one created by the destruction of collectivist thinking and prioritizing of an individualistic, transactional way of life.
“Don't you understand they'll never let me live out in peace? Concrete jungle, guerrilla war out in the streets” -Point of No Return, Immortal Technique
Most of you (Americans) who ramble on about politics are indifferent to the realities of the lowest class unless you come from it or worse, it serves a specific interest to you - and for that, I find you to be the worse form of “human;” a soulless, social parasite. Feeding on everyone’s life and happiness for your own gluttony and objectives. You are the worse type of individualist in America.
-First, To The Reformists:
It was hard trying to figure out if I should put you at the top or the Western Left, but ultimately it made the most sense to list the reformists at the top. The main annoyance in the way.
There was a time when I believed in reform, not anymore, not by a long shot. You may say, in your arrogant and inexperienced mentality, that I “lost the plot” or that I don’t understand. No, what you don’t understand is I HATE you - to us, the suffering poor, you are an arrogant traitor, a fucking coward more willing to continue a system of violence and hate against the poor at home and globally, because you refuse to accept the fact America will NEVER let you change it. Decades of reform attempts and what has it gained you? Has America gotten more safety nets? More wealth for the lowest class? A less right-wing government? Our products not dependent on slavery and suffering to keep them affordable? More unions that fight for increased wages? Less military funding so our programs have more funding for us? The biggest reformists, the DSA, haven’t been able to do a damn thing even at their peak in 2021 to over 78k members. Even the “progressives” in the DNC are actively useless in the face of the wealthy sociopathic neo-liberals who make up the majority.
Most of you have never suffered even a day in the lowest brackets of wealth in this nation. Not poverty nor homelessness. You don’t share our suffering, our anger. Many of us don’t dream of a strong DNC, or a strong reformist movement. Many of us dream of the RAF, many of us dream of retribution. We don’t want another 50 years, 100 years, 200 years of suffering until you finally get to us when it serves your interests. We don’t want another dozen generations of hell while the wealthy ride on yachts and treat us as less than dirt.
“The spirit of my people is starving, broken and sweaty, dreaming about revolution looking at my machete. But the workload is too heavy to rise up in arms, and if I ran away, I know they'd probably murder my moms.” -Peruvian Cocaine, Immortal Technique
“The problem with always being a conformist is that when you try to change the system from within, it's not you who changes the system; it's the system that will eventually change you. There is usually nothing wrong with compromise in a situation, but compromising yourself in a situation is another story completely - And I have seen this happen long enough in the few years that I've been alive to know that it's a serious problem.” -Poverty of Philosophy, Immortal Technique
“I don't want to escape the plantation. I want to come back, free all my people, hang the motherfucker that kept me there, and burn the house to the god damn ground. I want to take over the encomienda and give it back to the people who work the land. You cannot change the past but you can make the future, and anyone who tells you different is a fucking lethargic devil.” -Poverty of Philosophy, Immortal Technique
Most of the poor want serious, life changing, systemic changes that most of you are incapable of delivering because you can’t accept forcing changes without sitting at the seat of reactionaries. Most of you can’t accept the need for force when the truth is staring you in the face, that these rich parasites have the opposite interests to us, and don’t plan to give any ground without a fight.
Bastards like you have the audacity to call me an accelerationist, while your active protection of this system has just prolonged an inevitable move to the far-right systemically, because of your lack of control over the wealthy class. In the past, I would have denied such accusations, but you know what, after everything I’ve experienced and seen, yeah - I’ll accept that I am an accelerationist just to piss you off. To oppose this system entirely is the only logical conclusion at this point; because when the system is in active war with the poor, the only logical recourse is waging it back. Welcome to class war 101, coward.
Cowards like you often say “you aren’t ready for revolution” or “you wont defeat the military.” No, YOU aren’t ready for revolution, because you fear change to your comfort. YOU don’t want to become like us. YOU fear our lead in the struggle. Many of us would rather die for something worth fighting for than die from our lack of necessities, or old age with nothing for our loved ones after we’re gone. I and those like me want liberation, true liberation, for the oppressed & exploited than some false sense of liberation in exchange for a higher status socially while standing on the backs of those we came from.
You scream and cry about authoritarian socialism, about how violence is wrong, while ignoring the depths of brutality from capitalism and imperialism on people with nothing. It’s the most privileged behavior to denounce the violence of the poor while actively doing nothing against the violence of the rich. When are you ever going to understand the world doesn’t function off fancy slogans or morally correct beliefs, it functions on force from one class against another. It’s a class war, not a dinner party - they’ll never respect you and you’ll be the first to be removed as soon as the political power the workers have begins to challenge the profit and political power of the capitalists. They want to suspend Habeas Corpus in the US right now, do you seriously think that’s because of immigrants? No! It’s because the Left is growing in the US, and we’re the ones who historically put our lives on the line for the people! Them getting rid of Habeas Corpus will be when the real hunting starts, it’ll be the American version of the ‘Night of the Long Knives.’ I have no illusions in my proletarian mind, I want a powerful socialist state to protect us. I want a militarized socialist state to fight imperialist powers. I don’t want the continuation of suffering for the masses just because some capitalists in my state or in another country want to treat our lives as simple numbers to play with. Fuck your reform, fuck your privilege, give us revolution! If we suffer, even for a time, as long as it guarantees a future of thriving for us, a future where we control the decisions, then so be it!
-Second, To The Western Left:
First off, I have nothing but respect and love for those in the Left who are active, organizing, helping those in need. Regardless if you’re a political leader, propagandist, someone who donates to the cause in some way, someone who’s training militantly, a union member, and anyone else I didn’t mention. You are my equal in this cause, I don’t care if we differ in ideology. I may have my personal beliefs about some ideological groups, or believe that their lead will danger the movement at large; but I have no hate for people who labors for the cause or funds the cause, because action will always outweigh aesthetics or silent association. Those who organize, regardless their ideologies, even know there is a difference between them and those who don’t of the same ideology they belong to.
If you want to organize, but cant, I have no hate for you. I know it’s not easy sometimes. You aren’t part of the criticism that follows.
Second off, if you aren’t active despite you have the ability to be, aren’t organizing, or helping those in need - if you are wasting time with petty fights online, debating more than you do educating, using leftist beliefs and talking points just for aesthetics or for self-righteous reasons - hell, if you aren’t doing anything to help the cause whatsoever, not funding it, spreading it’s beliefs, not even doing propaganda, despite you could without any issues. I say this from the bottom of my heart, you are functionally useless and in the way. I don’t respect you, or take you seriously.
That may come off as harsh, and it is in many regards, because tell me how I should respond to witnessing people treat a revolutionary movement for self-righteous reasons or as an aesthetic to wear and flaunt about as the poor live in their own hell, or the oppressed of another nation suffering the loss of lives and limbs while starving or being hunted for sport? Please tell me, why you are deserving of even the slightest bit of kindness when this movement and its values was once used to fight the struggle directly for the betterment of mankind and you want to use it to flex how much theory you memorized to “dunk on” someone else who is most likely just as chronically online and fucking useless to the organizing spaces? I have seen homeless people digging through trash for food and mom’s selling their body to feed their children, and you want to argue with me about how I’m a revisionist Dengist because I support how China controls their economy while the US Left is too underfunded to help the people? Or how Marxism & religion can’t coexist because you treat all theory like some kind of unchallengeable dogma? Or how the Stalin purges was a power grab because you can’t trust pro-Soviet sources but you’ll trust anti-Soviet ones without question? Fuck you. You middle class, petite bourgeois radical; fucking cosplay revolutionary prick.
I’m not saying theory isn’t important, it damn well is, nor am I saying there isn’t legitimate arguments on specific occasions, but many of you are dogmatists and/or purity fetishists and would rather spend time fighting for your dogma than organizing for one fucking day. Many of you are theory obsessed contrarians who copy & paste everything you learn from theory like its a checklist or a step by step guide rather than an actual scientific guide of economic social order to be followed as closely as possible - yet you weirdos want to tell me about how Marxism is a science while you don’t even treat it as one; and if you aren’t a theory obsessed contrarian, you’re someone who avoids theory all together and just adopts whatever is the most popular or common within “leftist spaces,” which is usually whatever is most common from a Western progressive or liberal viewpoint, don’t hide it, I fucking know because I’ve seen you all do it too many times to count.
Many of you don’t have enough rage in your hearts, you haven’t seen enough to give you an urgency to act and it’s disgusting. Your lack of action as everyone struggles or dies around you while the wealthy grow more powerful shows either a lack of awareness, or worse, an indifference to the conditions you have the audacity to fucking comment on.
“'Cause once you past the point, you can never go home, you've got to face the possibility of dyin' alone. So tell me, motherfucker, how could you die for the throne
When you don't even got the fuckin' heart to die for your own?” -Point of No Return, Immortal Technique
“And I don't market revolution, I live it. What, you think cause you fake everyone else is a gimmick?” -Hollywood Drive By, Immortal Technique
The way many of you all act actively pisses me off because it feels so fake and performative. It feels like you treat this as some kind of way to feel like you’re doing something while actively wasting time and energy on the stupidest things imaginable. You lack any kind of self-reflection to analyze the time you’ve spent wasting online in these petty online fights, or clout chasing, to realize how much of your limited life is now gone for nothing - no growth to the movement, no expanding of programs for the people, nothing - just a long online footprint of fighting random echo chamber peers, criticizing organizations while never fucking organizing yourself, promoting liberal ass ways of surviving under capitalism and calling it “praxis,” all just to make yourself feel good. I understand if some of the online actively is done in a way to seem approachable or manipulate the algorithm to extend reach, but many of you and the way you act doesn’t draw people in, it actively scares them off because your constant contrarianism and searching for things to fight about makes you look like an unhinged cultist. I’ve been in the organizing scene for over a decade and I’ve seen some of these “online leftists” who join organizations. For every one who is serious or contributes, there is around 15-20 more who treats this like a game, don’t know what they’re doing, criticizes every little thing that doesn’t operate in a way they like, or joins just for boasting privileges. It may not upset people who don’t have a history of struggling with poverty or who witnesses horrific occurrences, but for those like me who have, it angers us to the core because we are trying to build to something bigger than ourselves and some of you are treating the struggle that would make our lives easier as something to benefit yourselves. And for every 15-20 who don’t do anything in an organization, there is most likely 50-70 outside of an organization sitting and complaining about how horrible things are, or how they’ll never join a group for one excuse or several others. It’s fine to have valid criticisms about organizations, but when you never organized in your life, you don’t know a damn thing about how hard it is to run an organization. Not to mention criticizing organizations in the public, when everyone online is a stranger, looking no different than a random undercover cop practicing COINTELPRO, is just destructive to the movement as a whole.
One of the many biggest reasons the Western left keeps making avoidable mistakes in narratives, organizing, propaganda, and more is largely because of so many who don’t organize that push incorrect ways of doing things, or by those who do organize but don’t read theory or study our history. The prior of course is significantly worse (there is more “leftists” who don’t organize vs those who do) because we have complete strangers that don’t do anything except be chronically online saying stuff for their egos, trying to tell others how to organize or narratives to push with no evidence to back their stances or just fancy use of words to drive their points, this is especially the most common with anarchists - and just as worse is the swarms of left-wing people who believe them on face value for no logical reason. How the fuck are so many of you more willing to believe a random stranger making content who hasn’t shown any history of knowing theory or historic leftist strategies yet you’ll jump at the first chance to criticize and attack someone whose non-political, or doesn’t know what is going on because no one taught them anything? An organization, which is a collective, that has a larger and deeper understanding and approach to organizing on issues? Or worse, and the most often, someone who has shown they are a left-wing organizer whose studied theory, just because he belonged to an organization you don’t like, or calls himself a Communist or some other reason that’s equally as stupid of a reason to criticize and attack? Absolute insanity. Many of you all will believe every “leftist” you come across if they say certain things you like because you aren’t deprogramming your individualism or killing the liberal in your head, but you’ll get so upset if pressured to organize for once in your life, or to deconstruct some liberal shit you’re doing, or to get engaged into your community and teach regular working people who have inevitable reactionary tendencies because you feel like you’re somehow so enlightened that they are under you - and I know this because I’ve seen it way too much to know it’s a common problem.
The far-right have been treating their fight like it’s a life or death struggle and Western leftists want to act like spending 8 hours a day fighting with random people online or giving snarky hot takes is somehow the best way to fight for the masses. That somehow socialism will come once we get everyone into some kind of shared hive mind where we agree with every ideological stance or social belief. Or that socialism will come just by getting most people to magically see our way instead of organizing towards it materially - because people totally aren’t influenced by the material realities of their lives, no, it’s all thought based.
I am TIRED of seeing those around me suffering and unable to thrive or those overseas being ripped apart by our bombs & bullets simply because the only movement in the West that can actually stop it, is currently stagnate between those who actually organize but don’t have enough help or funding, and the other (larger) part of the movement that’s being useless, chronically online, and behaving liberally because they lack any urgency or genuine understanding of the situation we’re all in. To me, those who have no interest in struggling within organizations or collectives in any capacity are no different to the reformists who just want to keep the system as it is.
The workload to actually see change in America is so large, requires so much centralized efforts - and we have plenty of people to gain advances and yet so few actually do anything to help. I know this is part of a larger criticism to individualism and American psychology, but that’s the first thing you’re suppose to deprogram from your mind when you become left-wing, yet many of you actively skip over that and then wonder why little is getting done. If you’re a fellow traveler, ok that’s one thing, BUT YOU CALL YOURSELF A SOCIALIST, A COMMUNIST, or some other variant of Left. You can’t just claim association and not do anything, that’s never been a thing in the Left, and it’s clear it never should be.
Many of you, specifically those who don’t organize or push propaganda or finance the cause, function off the liberal “big tent” belief. That just because a bunch of people call themselves “leftists,” “socialists,” “communists,” etc. that it means we are strong and large. You want to associate without putting in the work the movement demands of those who align with it, you are the worse stereotype of Western privilege next to the liberals.
Like, for fuck sake - read, organize, make propaganda for more than your echo chamber online, literally help the cause in some way! We don’t have the time anymore, the government is going to purge us again! PLEASE, get active, or leave our spaces!
-Third, To The Proud Individualist Americans:
Individualism is the single worse thing that Americans got really good at.
People who mindlessly adopt individualism; doesn’t matter if they’re poor, middle class, or extremely rich - people who act purely off their own self-serving values, sacrificing any or all empathy for others, while subverting others, using and abusing others for their own enjoyment. I can’t find any mercy for such behavior, for such soulless activity. I’ve experienced way too much, the average fake friend or fake partner who only saw me or others as tools for their own benefit, the random bourgeois minded prole who thought he could use me for his goals, the worthless business owner whose concern for people was to what end it benefited his profit margins or personal desires. I’ve witnessed people use and steal from the average person or even family just for their own self-gratification. This active, daily practice by so many, is the main reason for Americans harming other Americans passively. We keep trying the same formula of destroying others for ourselves to advance, only to move an inch one moment, and back again another, because everytime you take from someone without, you destroy a piece of yourself.
I wouldn’t say most Americans are proudly individualist, honestly most don’t even know what it is and do it because its common, the bystander mentality - but those who know what they’re doing, know that they are, these people turned into beasts worse than robots, I don’t care a single bit for them. I can’t. I can’t find the logic, or understand this frame of mind. This behavior is uncivilized and deadly to any civilization - it forces a “civilization” to eat itself until it’s hunger demands blood from its neighbors. Making excuses for its own brutality while invalidating humanity of others.
Individualism is a curse from the Europeans, one of the many cancers from European society in general, and especially after the “Enlightenment” era. The American populace, and all populations, is doomed as long as it protects this cancerous practice.
-Fourth, To The Capitalists & Their Lackies:
I loathe you, I despise your existence, I have no mercy for you. I hate you more than all the reformists, Western “leftists,” and individualists combined. You are my primary enemy, the main force who has fucked everyone’s lives and harmed those I care about. You, a wide network of parasitic bastards who never let go of their obsession with profit and power at the cost of the world. You had one of your own tell you to stop being so greedy and you all began building doomsday bunkers and dumping millions into an unempathetic militarized police and military to kill us when we inevitably revolt - because you can’t fathom being less of a parasite while enslaving every living thing. Some of you have night terrors of revolution while you sleep while never changing anything to cause it - you made the entire world nations of slaves, enslaving the third world outright, the prisoners outright, and the average civilian via a wage and slum like conditions or shared apartments. You created a world that made you scared for when they revolt, then continue to learn nothing from the history of doing this.
Marx was right, we’ll make no excuses, because you made none when you bombed and shot at us when we did things you didn’t like. Or when you destroyed our communities with individualism, poverty, pollution, and transactional co-existence. Or when you censored and killed anyone who began fighting for something as small as better wages or working conditions. The same way you want the world for domination and global slavery to make your ilk untouchable, to quote the great James Connolly to the respects of the workers demands “Our demands most moderate are – We only want the earth!” You want the planet to make us perpetual slaves? Then we want the world to never deal with you parasites ever again.
There is many people struggling to maintain a job while rationing food just to afford an overpriced shelter because the landlords bought all the homes like the parasites they are - meanwhile many of you have million dollar watches, communities with your own private police, fire departments and schools, multiple mansions and yachts - and you expect us to love you? To have empathy for you? You’re lucky you’ve carried on this long. You’re lucky you didn’t already get the Soviet treatment with the way you monsters flaunt your riches and run away in fear when the homeless man begs for change that your rich ass easily could do without.
Every slave mine, factory and plantation in the third world is owned by your company or your rich friend’s. Every prison you’ve invested in to profit off the slave labor. Every worker you and your ilk actively inconvenience daily by your upcharged prices on products and services, keeping them stuck. You are all killers, users, and general assorted scum. Burn in the deepest depths of hell with your foot soldiers, you fucking demons.
The Mental & Spiritual Toll:
“So if I should ever fall and get caught in the hustle, let 'em know that I died while I fought in the struggle. From the hoodrats to rich kids lost in the bubble, spray paint it on the streets and in the subway tunnels. Write it down and remember that we never gave in, the mind of a child is where the revolution begins. So if the solution has never been to look in yourself, how is it that you expect to find it anywhere else?” -Caught in The Hustle, Immortal Technique
I’m finding it harder and harder to keep fighting. I keep enduring, because what else can I do? I’m so angry, angrier than when I first became a Communist. I took an oath when I joined the Communists organizing in this cause. I took an oath after seeing how the structure harmed my community and loved ones. I feel like I have to keep going, but I am so tired, so worn down. This nation, poisoning all who it effects, it is so overwhelming everyday. I must endure because I have to do something to see change, but with so many actively sabotaging it and getting in the way, it makes me depressed and burnt out - but even though I suffer from these random occasions, my anger, my driving force, it always pulls me right back into it. I can’t simply stop, I’ve seen too much, learned too much. I can’t stop, otherwise I don’t feel like myself.
I’ll never feel like myself if I don’t keep fighting, no matter what I lose in the process.
